Natural Energy Boost Nature's Raw Guarana

NRG = Energy

Nature's Raw Guarana Tablets

NRG tablets provide you with the benefits of one of nature's most energising herbs. Herbalife has captured the high powered qualities of Guarana in NRG, to enhance performance and give you an invigorating lift during the day. An excellent addition to busy lifestyle that will help keep you "on top"

Do you suffer from fatigue and physical tiredness?

Reducing caloric intake can play havoc with your energy levels resulting in periods of physical tiredness. Guarana can help provide an invigorating lift, it is easily absorbed and gets to work quickly.

Why Guarana is a good replacement for Coffee?

It contains a milder form of caffeine and is gentler on the digestive system, but still provides a wonderfully invigorating effect.

What good will Guarana do?

Like drinking coffee these herbal compounds are quickly absorbed into the system, so within half an hour you will feel the difference.

When should I take Guarana?

You can take up to four Guarana tablets during the day (but avoid taking them during the evening, unless you particularly want to stay up late). Take them with water rather than drinking coffee mid-morning and mid-afternoon, for maximum benefit.

Do you suffer from a mid-afternoon slump?

If you are one of those people who suffers from clouded concentration mid afternoon (half way between your lunch and evening meal), try taking Guarana tablets and feel the benefit of the plant's naturally invigorating effect.

Key Ingredient Properties

Guarana is a climbing shrub native to South America. It has been used for centuries by the Amazon Indians for its spirited and refreshing qualities. Today, in Brazil, Guarana is added to soft drinks for the wonderfully natural, energetic feeling it provides.

Herbalife NRG = Nature's Raw Energy

  • Contains 800mg of organically grown Guarana in each tablet
  • Each tablet contains 32mg of an effective form of caffeine,  similar to the amount found  in half a cup of coffee
  • Guarana is gentler on the digestive system than many other   forms of caffeine, and preferred by many as an alternative to coffee.

  • Convenient and easy to use.

Christmas Burden to pay Get into Business

working from home
Hi, well here we are on the countdown to Christmas, what with the weather, the dwindling job security and the general atmosphere of "crisis" hitting the world, I fear that much of the Merriment and Ho|Ho Hos will be alcohol induced!!!

There has never been a more incredible time to own your own Business, be an Entrepreneur and get 2011 to be very different to 2010.  The world as we knew it, with secure jobs and good lifelong pensions have gone, now our Golden Years need to be well invested in.  If you are over 50 then the next decade will soon zoom past, how good will life be on the basic income?  Also the old grey matter still needs stimulating, it does not matter whether you are looking to increase slightly your income or make it a full time salary.

 working from home
One thing is for sure, with the climate changing conditions and people being stuck 15 hours in their vehicles, wages being lost through no fault of your own, risking life and limb to get to work, means that a more comfortable work environment  and surge in your own self esteem when you can sack your own boss is just amazing.

I got paid for a 37hr week, when for many years I was working, 70, 80  and even 90hrs, then when you don't do it for any reason you are the bad guy, lack of dedication or loyalty.  Living your life on your terms, taking responsibility for yourself is liberating.    Not everyone is born to be an entrepreneur, millionaire, or tycoon, but with your own business you do not have to be, nor do you have to take major financial risks.  It is the very best of both worlds. Just with more money coming into your household.

Choose a well established company (over 10 years old), choose an established global company, make sure they are members of the Direct Selling Association (gives you more strength and ethical standing).  Good ongoing training, does not insist that you purchase a stated amount each month, will not take your status away after one year and you have to start again!

If you have any questions that I can help you with, do not hesitate to contact me directly.  There is only one person that can make 2011 different, so just go see.....never know you just might enjoy it!

Time for a Personal and Business Review

Hi
Time is ticking by and we are now only a few weeks away from what is normally seen as a clean slate, new start, a new year!

However, this is also the time that we should be reviewing and planning, looking back over this year, what marketing medias have we used?, what results did we get from each one? how many orders did we get from each one? Don't forget to take the cost of the adverts, printing etc from the income before the overheads and tax deductions, the now smaller figure gives you a more accurate idea of what benefits come from where.

This is important information, then when we plan our next marketing plan we can optimise our budgets no matter how small they are! It does not matter if you have not been in business the whole year, work with the figures you have.

When we are new in business we often find it hard to so NO to a media sales person, they will all tell you what they can do for our businesses, but without any guarantees! So, remember we are the Boss and we decide what we spend and where we spend it.

When we are looking at what we have done and achieved it is easy to be self deflating, especially when a business is new but solid steps now and good self control will ensure growth. Business is a long term goal, these get rich quick schemes that seems to good to be true..... usually are.

Planning is a key, fail to plan and you plan to fail it is an old saying....but it is as true today as it has ever been.

So, if we also have not kept records, accounts or till rolls, bank statements are a start, but then this is an area for the next period that we can make a big difference. It does not have to be complicated or reams of paper, a simple list of income and outgoings. Is a good basic start.

As for ourselves look at and realise what we have learnt, we are our own biggest asset for our business and our future. No matter how long or how successful our business is there is always something to learn and some one to learn it from. Skills, abilities and knowledge come with time and experience, you cannot buy them. They take time, dedication and persistance, we are all worth that investment.

So, at this exciting time of the year, summerize what has been, then we can set our goals for what we want and plan to achieve them.

Not sure how to goal set, or break them down into a plan drop me an email at info@lindasagementoring.com and we can look at you personal requirements.

Until the next time, here's to your success

Live Your Dream

I have a set routine every morning, as soon as my feel touch the floor I am thankful for a new day. My weights are by the bed so I grab them and do 3 reps of 10 curls, lifts and lateral lifts. From the to the bathroom and whilst I clean my teeth I go through all the great things and people I have in my life.

By the time I get to the kitchen I am feeling, fired up for the day and very awake, I still prepare my delicious Cappuchino shake with soya milk, but like it really cold so it goes into the freezer for about 30 mins.

During that time I have a couple of mugs of hot water, I set out my agenda for the day before I shower, make the bed and get dressed. By the time I have my breakfast shake I am sitting in my office ready for work. But when I was getting my daughter up and out to school, or at the time of caring for both my elderly parents, my routine still ensured that my health, my energy, and my business are all wrapped up into my daily regime, it is a way of life. No matter what I am doing, I don't have a diet, nor do I have a job.

I prioritize and work my system, the nutrition is the best fast food in the world and the business I can work when and where I want. I don't miss my boss, nor booking holidays months in advance, no clocking in and out either. But you do need ongoing routines, if I only did this one day it would not make much difference, but doing it day by day, suddenly it is not hard or complicated and the results follow.

Each day people dream of freedom, I live that dream every day.

Herbalife Business Scams

I have been seeing an ever growing amount of adverts and articles about what Herbalife is lacking and why people are not millionaires, so lets take a good look at this. Herbalife like any business, Group, Committee, Board or even gym has a set of structures and tools. These are set out and people know exactly what they are when they sign up or join.

Each person has their own responsibility to themselves and their change for whatever outcome they want. Many people think it is a magic wand to make life different and yes it can be, but it takes effort and participation. Many people have joined gyms in January and by March, that gym does not work! But it is hard for the machines and weights to work when they are not turned on or picked up. If your attendance at the gym slips down and down, guess what…..it is not going to work. If the Group, Committee or Board members don´t turn up for meetings, they do not participate in decision and they lose interest. The Group, Committee or Board moves on and that individual gets left behind.

Herbalife is no different, the Company works, you can check that out on the Financial Stock Exchange, they have procedures and structures to help entrepreneurs, but not to run their business for them. There business however depends on Distributors being successful, as Herbalife cannot succeed without them, so 1st class training, world class products, world wide market and online support for over 70 countries is provided.

The Company, gym, Group, Board or Committee does not fail, but people give up. I have been with Herbalife for almost 6 years now, yes people have come and gone, yes people have made money (me being one of them). No it is not easy, but neither is working in the same job for 6 years.

One thing you often find with entrepreneurs they swop and change companies very quickly, you cannot build a house from the roof down, it takes time for the foundations and structure to be put into place. That depends on how long you dedicate to building your business, but if you do that well it will never let you down.

Dedication and perseverance are the greatest tools, but so many people want instant miracles and a magic wand. One is a plan for a better future and the other is just dreaming about it. The choice as always is up to you……

Life with Herbalife work From Home

Life with Herbalife, work from home, it sounds like a double edged sword and they both changed my life for the better!

I had spent most of my adult life woking for a Goverrnment Department one way or another, in teaching or psychology, schools, colleges, universities, Young Offenders Centres, prisons the list goes on. My professional life got more and more manic, working evermore hours for a wage of 37.5hrs.  I am classed as an intellegent woman, but I allowed stress to take over all areas of my life emotionally, physically and psychologically.

I was burnt out professional and in a total mess physically, which had a totally bad effect on my self confidence and a knock on effect with my relationships; not that I would have ever admitted it at the time.

Taking redundancy at the age of 49 was a huge step forward to taking back control of my life, within five weeks I had sold my house and moved lock, stock and barrel to Spain.  My daughter took these photos on the 26th October, 2005 (the day we signed for my dream house). It was also the day of reckoning, who on earth was the whale in the pictures!
Not only did she take the photos but they went all around the world on Facebook!!! It still took me 10 days to realise I was angry with myself not the rest of the world.

I went online and found Herbalife, I had tried everything but I was at desperation's door. I ordered my products online and started to take the two shakes a day and eat a good meal, I was caring for both my elderly parents at this time as well. Within days I felt better in myself, my energy level started to rise and from somewhere inside of me, I actually knew I was making progress in taking control of myself, all aided by the online and phone support of my mentor.

By Christmas, I was happier inside myself than I had been for a very long time, by the end of January 2006 I had enough self esteem back to end a very bad relationship that I had been in for over 6 years. By which time people were seeing such a difference in me they were asking me what was I doing. So I talked about the simple nutritious shakes and the the natural supplements that had changed my life. I had customers before I had a business.

I started my business and kept on losing weight, I started with a personal trainer and in 18 months had changed everything about myself for the better.

Life with Herbalife
is fantastic

My business grew over the years and because of the freedom of working when I wanted from home, I could care for my parents without any boss pushing me to get back to work.

As the internet became more of a tool for business, I started developing my skills to open up a world wide market, because Herbalife in now in 73 countries it is easy to expand.  There are no limits as to how much you want to earn or how many hours you can work the choice is yours.

I have now been here five years and am settled still with Herbalife, which is unusual in the home business world, they provide excellent training, support and I will guide you every step of the way.  The other amazing plus is that you use the products and become healthier, happier and confident.

Life with Herbalife, working from home.

Never has it been so easy to work when you want, from where you want and achieve financial and personal freedom.  In these days of poor job security, I am safer than most as the company has stood the test of time, the products do what they say they will do, and the world is my market place.

Free 90 Day Template

Today I want to talk about the importance of a 90 Day Plan, we are just coming up to the last 90 days of 2010! Have you planned for it?  What are you forecasting? or are you scratching your head saying, I don't know where the year has gone! Not much point now, people will only be thinking  of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

As an entrepreneur every, National Holiday, market day, or celebration is a time to incorporate into your marketing plan, we have 93 days left in this year, so still time to get your plan together.  Where do you advertise? How much do you have in a marketing budget?  Ok I can hear you saying, that is great for multi national, but I am a 1 man band! So am I, but starting to think outside the box a little is important.

Even with no budget there are still lots of things to look at, local fayres, bazzars, clubs, go and do a talk with a great offer for Xmas.  Local shop advertising is usually for pennies, link up with a charity you often get free advertising that way. Buddy up with somebody to do back to back advertising half the cost.

There are so many choices, NO ONE can do them all!! sit and work out who your audience is, where they are likely to be, so how can you most effectively get your name and products to them.  Don't be too general in this matter, the smaller the buget the tighter the niche needs to be.  One hit for advertising is no good, you will be throwing your money away.  You have to follow through, usually a minimum of 4 weeks, or 3 monthly editions.

Being proactive, be out and about, be seen, talk to people networking is very powerful.  Whether you are physically or cyberly marketing, check on your adverts regularly and know what other people in your field are doing.  The 90 Day Plan gives you the basic structure then for a DMO (daily method of operation) depending on how you are going to market, plan your hours around it.

Being an entrepreneur is in a huge part being organised and following plans, without them you are going to get side tracked and do nothing.  So, now you have 4 days to get a plan into shape, to get the best out of your last 90 days of 2010.  Make the most of this year and launch yourself into 2011  with a BANG!

Here is a GREAT OFFER for the next 4 days until the 2nd October 2010,  sign up on my website and I will personally help and guide you to make your 90 Day Plan, if you have never done one, or are not sure about it, I will help you for FREE

New Era

Monday 20th September, 2010 dawns, a little darker in the morning now and cooler during the night.  The pressure of the past three months released like a valve as today is D Day!!

My spree of online webinars, training, listening, reading and the frustrations of copy, pasting, searching and writing come to an end (well ok a pause). Working 12 to 16 hr days, starting at stupid o'clock in the morning and ending when the eyes can no longer focus!

My head has been at bursting point many times, wondering "what the hell am I doing?" only to remember just why, then knuckle down once again.

Being an entrepreneur, working from home or self employed, the title is really irrelevant; it means YOU are your own boss, you want freedom and are willing to do whatever to be better off financially and psychologically, to be out of the rat race.

People have romantic notions about entrepreneurs, they work a couple of hours a day and get a full time income, they make a million pounds working out of their garage, they travel the world and drink champagne!   Ok yes, many of them do, but there are hundreds of thousands that are normal hard working people, but they have the chance to climb the latter and be one of the elite group; where as employees are not even on the ladder!
Profits are better than wages a lesson well learnt from Jim Rohn but it takes, guts, effort, determination, dedication and motivation to be the lone salmon swimming up river!

Saying that....D Day launches my new website, press a button and the whole world can see me, ok well they can if they were looking!!!, all that work to climb a huge mountain, only then to be met with the next one......how to get traffic to the site!

No body said it would be easy and no body said it would be instant, even though there are hundreds of incredible income stories out there.  Keeping going is the only guarantee to getting into that elite club. One step after the next, one achievement after another, one sale after another.  If you can do 1, you can do 10, if you can do 10, you can do 100, if you can do 100, you can do 1000, then there is no reason to stop!

The only way this will not happen is if you give up, or throw in the towel.  But once you have had that taste of success no matter how small, do you want to go back to a "job". For me that is a definate NO, so I will be climbing my next mountain of getting my ranking down and my visability up.
If you would like to have a look at the new site just click and hey presto, welcome to Linda Sage Mentoring

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Fact Sheet

Many people look at working for themselves or working from home when they have had bad experiences in workplace environments. Also when people have not finished their schooling or have struggled in an educational environment.

I have a daughter how has ADHD so am very aware how difficult education and employment can be for people with any of the Spectrum disorders. If you have or have not been diagnosed with this condition it is worth reading the Fact Sheet below, it may help and answer a few questions.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Fact Sheet
By Margarita Tartakovsky, M.S.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the most commonly diagnosed disorder in children and teens. Its hallmark symptoms include hyperactivity, inattention and impulsivity. Children have difficulty concentrating, following instructions, sitting still and interacting with others. Some kids may call out answers without waiting their turn and make inappropriate comments. Others might be quiet and keep to themselves, daydreaming away at their desks.

ADHD also affects approximately 4 percent of adults, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. These adults have problems with organization, time management, sustaining their attention, completing tasks and controlling their emotions. They can miss deadlines, speak without thinking, get easily distracted, misplace items and have trouble remembering things. Similar to children, symptoms in adults can vary — some adults might be especially gregarious while others withdraw and isolate themselves.

For both kids and adults, these symptoms create problems at school, work and in relationships. Though ADHD can make daily life difficult, it’s effectively treated with medication and psychotherapy. If you think you or a loved one has ADHD, see a mental health professional for a comprehensive evaluation.

What Are the Risk Factors and Causes of ADHD?
Like other psychological disorders, ADHD is caused by a multitude of factors, including the following.

•Genetics: Studies show that ADHD runs in families with greater frequency than in the general population. Twin studies have attributed about 80 percent of ADHD to genes (see Faraone, 2004), though estimates vary. Researchers also have explored the contribution of specific genes. A recent large-scale study demonstrated that many genes are involved in ADHD (see genetic determinants of ADHD). Since many symptoms make up the disorder, that would seem to make sense.
•Environment: The maternal environment might increase the risk for ADHD, including smoking during pregnancy (in an already genetically susceptible child), low birth weight and mom’s mental health. Some research has found that preschool children exposed to high levels of lead might be vulnerable to ADHD (Braun, Kahn, Froehlich, Auinger & Lanphea, 2006). Also, ADHD seems to be associated with traumatic events, such as emotional or physical abuse (see Banerjee, Middleton & Faraone, 2007).
•Food additives: The hypothesis that food additives increase ADHD risk has been a controversial one. A recent study found that drinking beverages with food additives increased hyperactivity in children without ADHD (see here and here).
•Brain injury: Head trauma can cause ADHD-like symptoms, though only a small percentage of children with ADHD have experienced brain injury, according to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). Also, a recent study disputes this hypothesis.
Symptoms of ADHD
Inattention

•Misses details and makes careless mistakes
•Is unable to organize tasks and activities
•Has difficulty following through on instructions and completing assignments
•Gets bored with a task after only several minutes
•Doesn’t seem to listen when spoken to
•Is easily distracted
•Often loses toys, school supplies or anything necessary for a particular task
•Is often forgetful
•Avoids, dislikes or hesitates to participate in activities that require continuous mental effort (e.g., homework)
Hyperactivity

•Fidgets or squirms in seat
•Leaves his or her seat when it isn’t appropriate
•Runs or climbs when it isn’t appropriate (in adults, this might be restlessness)
•Frequently has difficulty playing or participating in activities quietly
•Often acts like he or she is “on the go” or “driven by a motor”
•Talks excessively
Impulsivity

•Blurts out answers before questions are completed
•Has a tough time awaiting his or her turn
•Interrupts others (e.g., disrupts a conversation or game)
Issues with Adult Diagnosis
The criteria for diagnosing children with ADHD are reliable. However, since they were originally created with children in mind, they may be inappropriate for diagnosing adults.

Many symptoms adults commonly experience, including procrastination, poor motivation and time management problems, are excluded from the criteria are excluded from the criteria (see Davidson, 2008). Also, it can be difficult to distinguish ADHD from other psychological disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder and generalized anxiety.

What Are the Different Types of ADHD?
•Predominantly Inattentive Type: A prevalent diagnosis among adults, this type shows six or more symptoms from the inattention category and fewer than six symptoms from the hyperactive-impulsive (but individuals can exhibit some of these symptoms).
•Predominantly Hyperactive-Impulsive Type: These individuals show six or more symptoms from the hyperactive-impulsive category and fewer than six symptoms from the inattention type (but some of these symptoms can be present).
•Combined Type: Common in children, this type exhibits six or more symptoms of the inattentive type along with six or more symptoms from the hyperactive-impulsive type.
How Is ADHD Diagnosed?
A trained mental health professional, such as a psychologist, psychiatrist or therapist, can accurately diagnose ADHD. This is done with a face-to-face clinical interview. The practitioner will take a comprehensive history, including current and past symptoms, medical conditions, co-existing psychological disorders and family history. When diagnosing children, the practitioner will gather information from parents and teachers. (See here for details).

What Treatments Exist for ADHD?
Both children and adults with ADHD are treated with psychotherapy, medication or both.

What Kinds of Medications Are Used for ADHD?
Both stimulants and nonstimulants are prescribed to treat ADHD, helping to improve academic, occupational and social functioning. Medication is available in either a short-acting dose (which lasts for about four hours) or a long-acting dose (which lasts about 12 hours).

Contrary to their name, stimulants actually calm patients and are used as the first line of treatment. They help control hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattention, improving an individual’s ability to concentrate, learn, follow instructions and interact with others.

There are two primary types of stimulants—methylphenidate-based (Ritalin, Concerta, Metadate) and amphetamine-based (Adderall, Dexedrine).

Studies have shown that these medications are safe. Side effects may include trouble sleeping, loss of appetite and anxiety. Because of this, stimulants might not be appropriate for someone who already has anxiety.

There are several concerns with prescribing stimulants for children:

1.Stunted growth. Though there might be subtle effects, it seems stimulants don’t affect one’s ultimate height and weight, according to a recent review (Faraone, Biederman, Morley & Spencer, 2008). The authors did note that doctors should still monitor children’s height.
2.Addiction and future drug abuse. Many parents also worry their kids will become addicted to stimulants and develop drug abuse problems. However, a great deal of research has found that taking stimulants does not increase an individual’s risk for substance abuse (see Biederman, Monuteaux, Spencer, Wilens, MacPherson & Faraone, 2008). Interestingly, some research has even shown protective effects—children who respond well to stimulants are at lower risk for alcohol and substance-related problems. (This might not be true for adults).
3.Heart problems. Rare, but fatal cardiac complications may occur in children with underlying heart disease. For this reason, the American Heart Association has recommended that all children with ADHD have cardiovascular screenings before they’re prescribed stimulants. For details, read here and here).
4.Nonstimulants. Atomoxetine (Strattera) was the first and so far only nonstimulant medication to receive approval to treat childhood ADHD. It also was the first ADHD medication approved for adults.
Strattera lasts 24 hours as opposed to the four- or 12-hour effects of other stimulants. Its side effects also include insomnia and loss of appetite, though this is more common with stimulants.

The FDA has required that Strattera be sold with a black box warning about suicidal risk; it might increase children’s and teens’ suicidal thinking and behavior.

5.Medication concerns for adults. All of the above medications also are prescribed to adults with ADHD. However, because of the high risk for abuse, there is controversy over prescribing stimulants to adults with a history of substance abuse — prevalent among adults with ADHD, reports ADDitude.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a significant component of ADHD treatment, because it teaches both children and adults the skills they need to succeed. In addition to therapy, many adults with ADHD work with a coach, who helps them get organized and develop and achieve their goals as well as providing valuable feedback and support. For more details on ADD coaches see here and here.

Behavior therapy is just as it sounds: It helps promote appropriate behavior (e.g., doing one’s homework) and decrease problem behavior (e.g., acting out in class). The therapist, parents and teachers establish rewards and consequences to promote positive behaviors.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy helps adults identify negative thoughts and behaviors and change them. In addition, individuals learn how to overcome everyday struggles, including problems with organization and time management.

Social skills training teaches both adults and children how to interact appropriately with others and build healthy relationships. Individuals with ADHD tend to have difficulty understanding social cues (e.g., facial expressions; body language) and might come off as inattentive or offensive.

What Do I Do Next?
If you think you have or a loved one has ADHD, you’ve already accomplished your first step: educating yourself about the disorder. For more detailed information, check out our ADHD guide and complete an ADHD questionnaire. Adults can read a first-hand account of life with ADHD here.

To receive a comprehensive clinical assessment, see a mental health professional or check with your primary care physician or community mental health clinic. Remember that ADHD can be successfully managed, so it’s essential to get evaluated as soon as possible.

Happy 80th Birthday to a Legend

Today 80 years ago Jim Rohn was born into a farming family in a small farming community in Idaho, up to the age of 25 his life was pretty much the same as any "normal people", he married young and had his own family; to stuggle on like most people feel that they have to.

His life chage with an enlightening mentor Earl Shoaff, in the next six years he made his first fortune, but he did not get into speaking until he move to California. A friend there asked him to speak to his Rotary Club which Jim did with a speech called "Idaho Farm Boy Makes It to Beverly Hills".

His speech went over so well that he received more invitations to share it, and better yet, they started paying him for it. In the beginning, he spoke in front of college and high-school classes and at service clubs, before moving on to seminars in 1963, which launched him into the personal-development business. From then on, Jim Rohn became a trailblazer in the self help and personal development industry, impacting the lives of millions through his life-changing material.

I am lucky enough to say that Jim Rohn made a big difference to my life and enabled me to have the strength to follow my dream of teaching and mentoring others in finding their strength to follow their dreams.

My life like many hundreds of thousands of others has been enhanced by Jim Rohn's life.

In rememberance of a GREAT man, my thoughts are with you on your very special day.

http://ping.fm/xlMMH Are you Your BIGGEST Asset?

You, YOU You & YOU

Hi
Ok, today I can be on my soapbox this is one subject that cannot be underestimated or over promoted.

No matter what size your business is, nor how long you have been in business. This is especially important for anyone working from home.

If you are in a JOB, then you know there is an expectancy of you, the way you present yourself for work, the hours you keep, your customer service and your performance is monitored; as well as your breaks, lunchtime and holidays. When you work for yourself, you have to decide all of this, yes it is one of the most liberating areas of this work, but it is also one of the hardest to set and stick to.

It is easy to roll out of bed in the morning, turn the computer on and tap away, you are not alert, you are not primed and you certainly cannot give a professional image, when you feel lazy.

Getting up, washed, dressed, teeth and breakfast, means you a fuelling your body and seeting you mind to go to work. Physically work in a prepared area, does not matter if it is an area of your living room or a dedicated room, it helps give you the mind set of a work environment.

Take your breaks, walk away from the computer, have a drink preferably water, coffees/teas/pop all have suguar or caffine rushes but dehydrate you and depleat concentration.

Eat regularly, so that your body has fuel in the tank. Lighting, heating and comfortable seat are base requirements. Don't work to the wee small hours, you get over tired, make lots of mistakes and either have to go over everything again or send out poor quality work.

Sleeping regular hours is important, you need to really rest as you are taking in so much new information it is easy to burn out. Exercise always help, I always start the day off with an hour of something, to get the heart pumping, adrenalin driving so I feel very alert and enthusiastic.

You also need positive things around you, no matter who or what it is my choice is always some Jim Rohn and upbeat music.

You are your most important asset in your business, you need also to be your own business card. When people see you, hear you or read about you are you the best you can be? If not then you are selling your business short, would you employ somebody who does not meet standards?

You need you, your business needs you, your clients need you, and your profits need you to be the best you can be. So never underestimate the value of YOU.

The Five Ps to Success

Hi
As an entretreneur, self employed or lone trader it is often hard to keep your positivity in focus. Frustration, disappointment and anger sometimes makes life harder and when we work alone it is absorbed into our system until at times we want to explode. This is not helpful or healthy!

There are steps that can be used prior to getting to explosion point. After all we are only human. There are five Ps that are very important in my life.
Protein, good nutrition, helps the brain work well, more alert, cuts our cravings and helps stablize mood swings.

Perseverence, each day is a day nearer to that 6 figure income that we all want. It is doing things each and everyday to take steps in the diection we want to go.

Productivity, so many of us are busy, but not productive. How many of us get side tracked by emails, and videos saying watch this NOW! That will not build your list, nor will it make money. Be blinkered, pick one strategy and work it for 90 days, evaluate it and move forward.

Personal Needs, don't write newsletters or blogs when you are tired, as it will show in your errors and opinions. Take time out of the day to stretch your legs, have a breather, eat regularly and drink loads of water. Try not to work in poor light,it is easy to strain your eyes. Be comfortable, warm or cool as the weather requires. Use the basic human requirements to enhance your productivity.

Profit, when you have consentrated all of your efforts, consistantly in a perpetual way over a time period, you will reap the rewards in profits. "It is always better to earn a profit, than work for a wage" Jim Rohn.

Your positivity is enhanced knowing you have a goal or a dream, working everyday to make that happen, and then being rewarded for your dedication by having the lifestyle, others are still dreaming of. Is it worth the effort...........YES, YES, YES everytime.

http://ping.fm/NgSoD lethergy, tiredness, lack of concentration can't be gd 4 business, change them today

How Good are You for Your Business?

When was the last time you felt fantastic?
Very often we are our own worst enemy, stress, polution, eating on the run or skipping a meal here and there, alcohol, fast foods and loads of coffee and tea. Along with many hours in front of a pc screen or behind a desk or wheel of a car.

When you are an entrepreneur it is essential that you invest in YOU, your helath, fitness and wellbeing. We are all inclined to work long hours and push ourselves to the limits, but where will our business be without us?

Try these three very simple steps to feeling better in just a few days GUARANTEED!!!
1.Drink at least 2ltrs of water a day (nothing added to it, juice, tea, coffee etc as it changes the chemical compound of the water) Coffee, tea, carbonated drinks and alcohol all dehydrate. Dehydration causes lack of concentration, headaches and a general feeling of fatigue

2.Cut out bread, crispbreads, crackers etc if you have a sandwich for lunch, put what ever you would have in the sandwich on a plate, usually it does not look much; so add some extra protein meat, fish, egg whites. (bread and refined carbs bloat and make you feel lethargic, along with yeast and candida infections)

3.Eat fresh fruit and raw veg throughout the day and evening, natural sugar will give you increased energy, raw veg are higher in nutrients than cooked ones.

Try it for just a week and see what a difference it makes to you. Would be great to hear about what a difference you felt in just a week, so how positive that was for your business. Click here to let me know!

http://ping.fm/ZSiyw Set yourself a challenge and join me!
http://ping.fm/B8V8a How long will you take to realize your dreams? A lesson from Gary

Think About How You Live

Yes, it has been one of those days when I have been made to think about my life, how I live and how I want to live. There is nothing like a touch of mortality to make us sit back and think, take stock and realise we are only human!

Yes, I have been to a funeral, a friend of mine, a husband, father and grandfather, he was seventy two years old, but to look at him you would never think it, his zest for life and playful nature always made him seem a lot younger. He had been married for fifty years! (not much hope I will make that!)he had a great social life and was the fun of any party just like his wife, great characters together. He was devoted to his wife, daughter and grandchildren, and always had time to help or see other people.

Sitting in the chapel, was also another friend of mine a beautiful, single lady of a mere (50ish, but she never admits to it!) Who has gone through three cancer operations herself this year, also a lively and vivacious soul. Her last op being only three days ago, but she was there as a good friend.

What really made me think was that although we had all lead very different lives, we had all done what we had wanted to do. Had the courage to follow our dreams, found ways to finance and earn money to work when, where and how we wanted.

Living in any foreign country that is not your own brings its own challenges, but so much reward. Working for yourself brings along many challenges, but so many rewards. This man had been living the life he loved, with the people he loved, in a place he loved, doing work he loved right up to the end of his life. That is a very powerful statement about the dreams, determination and the dedication of this man.

Wonder how many people can actually say the same about their lives, situations, relationships and work? One thing is sure we have no guarantees, so if you are putting off following your dreams, working for yourself, getting the life you want until the time is right; how much are you going to miss out on?

Take the dreams off of the shelf, dust them off, and beleive in them, then take the actions to find a way to make them come true. Our graveyards are the richest grounds for "what ifs", "I wish I had", "if only" Don't let yours be added to the pile. Be like Gary and be in the champions, "I did it", section.

I know where I want to be........Thank you Gary for yet another great time. RIP my friend

http://ping.fm/KTgbZ Stop feeling tired, moody, and generally poorly in the sun!
http://ping.fm/zuXWB Find yourself going off the boil somedays? Hard to keep yourself motivated? see what I do.

The Rocky Mentality

This morning I went out training, the first time in a couple of weeks, I had slipped into an excuse mode, early appointments or need to get to the bank etc, then with intentions to train later, which never quite got there.

At the end of very busy days I have put my feet up on the sofa and in no time fallen asleep; only to be wide wake at stupid o'clock with a stiff neck! Starting work then, is great at first, though by midday I am slowing down and in the afternoon concentration is rock bottom.

My eating habits have gone down the same slippery path, missing a meal here and there, snacking bits, not drinking all of my 2lts of water, even adding a glass of wine here and there.

My concentration, stamina, motivation, enthusiasm, bright ideas, laughter and interest in myself and my work were suffering. We are all human, but we are also our own biggest asset or not as the case may be!

I used to use the Rocky films as focal, motivational films when working with Young Offenders, so I sat myself down and watched a film, yes in the middle of the day and no I did not feel guilty, it is just what I needed.

This morning started focused, went and exercised, just as it happened it rained (very unusual in Aug in Spain) but it did me good as I just worked through it. By the time I got home I was soaked, but glowing I felt as if I have moved my world forward.

That set the tone of the day, music, smiles and loads of things achieved today, I stopped and ate lunch that gave me time to refocus for the afternoon. I have been listening to great recorded training, and I have talked to four new customers today! Bingo the sparkle is back.

When you are working alone, have a business in your house it is easy to let yourself slip, getting hold of those reigns and getting back into step is very important. Are you a winner? yes, are you worth it? yes! keep things around you that reminds you of that and anything that helps you focus is great. It does not have to mean anything to anyone else, so my new screen save is........ Rocky jumping with triumph at the top of the stairs!

We can all slide. but it is the strength of mind of an entrepreneur that makes them different to everyone else. Just like Rocky no compromise, eye on your goal and go for it, whatever it is

Regards
Linda

Are you waiting to be perfect for your business?
See what James Dyson and Donald Trump did

Don't Expect to be Perfect

Whatever we do in life most of us don't expect perfection, but for some reason when people start to run their own business, they expect to be James Dyson or Donald Trump in a very short time.

I have chosen these two examples because James Dyson as an inventor, many people have inventions or unique ideas, but don't know where to go from there. Donald Trump on the other hand was born into money, but refurbing old businesses and bringing things up to date have gained him billions.

However, what these any other successful people have done is have the determination to go through tough times, Dyson was on the verge of bankrupcy and had to take his ideas and plans to Japan to side step a huge global firm called Hoover that want him out of their market. He fought them and finally won huge damages, but his whole family, their lifestyle, home and even food were on the line, but he did not give in. Donald Trump is no stranger to bankrupcy in his business interests, owing banks at one time over 3 million Dollars. He could have thrown in the towel, but learnt new ways of doing things and back he came stronger than ever.

Don't wait to be perfect in business, as it will not happen the markets change and the products move on. The art is to move with it, be open and willing to learn and change. Trial and error, learn from those that have gone before and use all their bright ideas, then add them to your own.

The world of being an entrepreneur is scarey, and does hold a lot of pit falls, but once you are in there and swimming with the big boys there is nothing like it. This is where dreams are normal currency and nothing is impossible. Negativity stops in the doorway and there is too much energy, vitality and positivity for it to exsist.

You don't have to be perfect to enter this club, but you do have to be determined, have stacks of staying powere and most of all a whopping great big WHY, if you want it enough there is a world wide library and think tank to find a HOW.

If you wait to be perfect before you start, what a loss that just may be to humanity...... you just never know!!!

Always busy but don't seem to get a lot achieved? Read on....

Important or Urgent Make the Most of your Time

Learning what is important and what is urgent, is a great way of saving time! something only becomes urgent when you don't do it when it is important! Putting things off makes them into a crisis that stops you doing important things that make you money!

It is not to say that important things are not making time to have lunch, or enjoy an evening out with your spouse, to build a solid life these are just as important as posting your ads on the net.

When you are working from home or working for yourself, you are your biggest asset; so you need to keep it mentally, physically and emotionally in tip top condition. Support from your family, friends and spouse is also important, so make time for them. If you don't it will be so very much harder to achieve your goals when you are battling with them and with resentment as well.

Work smart, not work more, enjoy everything you do and do not put things off. if at first things seem hard, the more you do them the easier they get, remember how difficult it was learning to ride a two wheeler bike? or learning to drive? This is the same, a new skill and then you will be off and running.

http://ping.fm/lkinc Beach Babe or Bloated Whale what do you think?
http://ping.fm/0fO7P Slay the negative wizards & squash the gremilins with the Power of your Mind

Strength of Mind

When we think about being an entrepreneur or working from home, the idea is sometimes scary and the financial worries can keep our adventurous spirit at bay.

One thing is without any doubt any home based business or entreprenurial effort needs more than any other skill is as strong mind. This is not to say blinkered or narrow minded views, as the learning curve for anyone in business is very steep. The ability to be taught and to learn from people who have trod the path before us, can save many heartaches and a lot of money.

There is no security in any job now, not even in pensions, investments can go down as well as up! So, building a solid base for your older years is more of a must now than ever before. People are living longer and there is no possible way that in the decades to come that the State will be able to foot the bill.

Whatever your age, or educational level, working from home and the internet has leveled the playing field, if you put the time in you will reap your rewards, if you tread it like a hobby you will get pocket money.

Your strongest most valuable asset is YOU, what you have done, how you live and what you can do to help others. Your belief in yourself and your ability to learn, progress and achieve is paramount. There will be loads of people out there to burst your bubble, lay on the scare tackticks, you have to be strong in your belief of what you want and why to overcome the barriers.

Don't forget you are in good company, every single person who has achieved anything, has stuck to their beliefs when everyone else has doubted. There is not a single successful entrepreneur or business person that started at the top, they worked at it, struggled and achieved.

So, the next time that niggling doubt pops in, or a negative comment lands on your ears, stoke up the fire of self belief and warm yourself on the knowlege that the view from the top is great, it is worth every step to get there.

http://ping.fm/3XVaV How to Stand out in the Internet Fog
Billions of clicks a day how do you get found? Look & see if I can shed some light

How to Stand Out in the Internet Fog

Hi
I am told that there is 1 billion video updates on You Tube a day, 1.5 billion users on the internet ans 4.5 billion loggin on via mobile phones!!

This is like an avalanche of clicks, hits and downloads of information; how on earth can you get seen and heard without a miracle?

This is no different to anything in life, learn from the people who already know and do it well. If you want to learn to cook, you would not take Spanish classes, or if you are looking at flights you would not be checking the timetables of the train companies.

The internet is no different, watch, listen, learn and follow the big boys! They did not build there mega lists in a couple of days, but what they did do was build a few relationships then swap lists and help one another, as they grew they got friendly with others and did the same. The internet is the biggest team game on the planet and there really is not room for I in a team.

If you have a contact list of 50 or 100 names don't try to joint venture with somebody with thousands in their list, there is nothing in it for them!, find some other newbes following an icon and start to work together and build together, if there is then three of you, you have 300 contacts. Then meet up with 3 others have that around the 300 mark all of a sudden all of you have 900 contacts. It is a numbers game but you can help your numbers by playing in the league you are in at the moment, as you grow your list you will grow your skills and knowledge and your friends.

There are a lot of helpful people out there in cyberland but it is all based on a payback scheme or scratch my back I'll scratch yours. It works and there is no reason for it not to work for you, as long as you do your appenticeship and learn the way. You will then be the BIG BOYS or GIRLS to the next lot of newbes that come along.

http://ping.fm/NNZ90 Every let a dream or goal fade and die???

5 Ways to Keep Your Dream Alive

Hi,
All of us have had dreams or goals that we have let fade and die in our lifetime. This happens for many reasons, self doubt, do you deserve it, will you cope when you achieve it, or is it lack of activity, laziness, waiting for fate to knock on the door with the answer, missing motivation or enthusiasm.

Maybe we started out well with all good intentions, but then the results did not show as fast as we wanted them to, or an obstacle came along and we questioned ourself, we then doubted and stopped trying. Maybe somebody around us who we respect or admire, took the time to tell us why our dream or goal was not worthy of us, so we listened to them and stopped. Maybe someone just made life so uncomfortable around us because they were scared of change and wanted to keep us just where we are....with them.

We are all entitled to dreams and goals and to achieving them, but there are no magic wands, Genies in lamps, or Fairy Godmothers but there are people that seem like that when you know what you are looking for!!

1. Make your goal personal, it is important to you, write it down in detail always in the 1st person (I, me, my, mine) and always in the present tense (like it has already happened, talking in the here and now)
and sit with your eyes closed to remember it word for word, adding emotion, colour, smells, feelings and textures.

2. Talk to as many people as possible about your goal, they hear it once you keep on hearing it. Talk to yourself about it when you are not talking to somebody else.

3. Any one you talk to that does not encourage or support you, keep them at a distance, stay away from them, their view is only an OPINION not a fact. Believe you are worthy of the new goal, believe you deserve it.

4. Your dreams and goals will not pop into being without working on them and preparing yourself for them dedication on your part, do something everyday to get you closer to the goal, read, listen to CDs or watch DVDs by people who are experts in the area of your goal. Mix with people who have already achieved your goal and listen to their experiences.

5. The fact is as you believe in your goal and move towards it, some people are going to be left behind you, but new people are always going to come along to replace them, only the negative people will be left behind. Blinkers on, head high, shoulders back and just go for it.

Funny thing is once you have tasted the excitement of achievement, you will only want more.....so go to it, what is next?

One thing is for sure you can do it, if you want to and set your mind to it.
Are your beliefs helping or hindering your progress?

http://ping.fm/W5egm How do You Talk to Yourself? What difference could it make?

Who Talks to You, Like You Talk to Yourself?

I was talking to one of my latests recruits this morning and he is a 40 something year old man with years of "selling" under his belt, he seems to be dilligent, with a good work ethic, wants to learn new skills and trusts me to help his progress. I know this because some of the things I have asked him to do like a vision board, the specific goal settling, visualisation and finally putting his much desired Bently convertable picture as his screen saver have seemed alien to him, but he has done them anyway, gradually he has seen the benefit of building the new reality with pictures, emotions and feelings.

However, it was not until we spent some time going through some of the internet marketing materials did I find the weak link in his chain!!! Being honest we are only as good as our weakest link, the one part of the jigsaw that lets us down or is missing, keeps all the other pieces waiting for completion.

Building a sales funnel and looking for leads is a natural ability for this man, but the more time he spend doing that caused him to have minute lapses of concentration or he made silly errors, pushing wrong buttons on the task he was doing. To which he became very self devaluing, "why are you so stupid", "what the hell are you doing that for", "what an idiot, you know better than that". Which made me think, how many people can see a pattern in this?

When we are contolling our thoughts, planting ideas and visualising with time and effort it becomes easier to take the reign of your thoughts and beliefs to get them to where you want them to be, but on the times that our guards are down old habits creep in. This really is a door that needs shutting and bolting closed, as is is like slipping back into an old pair or shoes or a favourite chair rather than breaking the new ones in, as they get tight and uncomfortable after a while........ do we choose to move forward with the smart new option, or when the pain increases do we go back to what we know is comfortable.

Lets face it, if anybody else spoke to us like we speak to ourselves at times, how long would they be our friend??????? We need to be our best friend, not just in company and at formal times, when we are in those pressured, or quiet alone times as well.

One exercise I learnt very early from Lou Tice from The Pacific Institute on was to have a 24hr period when there was no "put downs". "insults" or "self defeating" thoughts allowed, it is not an eassy task, but a very worthwhile one because it does catch you out!!! and then you can realign the thoughts to a more positive, encouraging option, which in turn will help your progress to the new image of you, in your new environment.

See how you can do for the next 24hrs

Is your life full of HAVE TOs? See if I can make an instant difference....

Why Be Weighed Down by Have To????

Hi
Did you leap out of bed this morning and jump around your room at the possibilities that lay before you, or the excitement of the day ahead?

Is that a big fat NO? Well, I suppose not everyone can be the same. Though even waking up today has been a bonus that many have not had and as we have no guarantees that we will have a tomorrow; so why not make the most of today and everyday?

Being an entrepreneur makes being self motivated a base requirement, but it does not matter where you are or what job you are in there are some very easy ways to make things seem a lot better, or a lot easier to deal with. I was lucky enough to be taught this lesson very early on and it still keeps me in focus today.

Get a piece of paper and a pen, go on I mean it, it is well worth the effort. Then I want you to write down a list of all the things you think you HAVE TO do today. Don't skimp on it....

I have to get up, wash, have breakfast, feed the kids, do the washing, wash the car.....

I know your list, like mine seems endless, here is the big BUT, now I want you to go back through your list and really think if you HAVE TO do the thing or if you actually CHOOSE to do it?

Get up, nope you could have stayed in bed,
Wash, nope there are plenty of stinky people out there!
Have breakfast, nope go hungry....you don't want to, see it is a choice
Feed the kids, nope they would create a lot, or get something for themselves
Do the washing, nope plenty of laundry services out there, that would cost more money, true so you choose to do it to save money
Wash the car, nope it will only get dirty again, or there are car wash places, you have a choice!!

Do you see what I am getting at now?
There should only be three things on your list, to be born (once you are conceived you have to be born), to die (some even choose when that will be), and take up space if you are into quantomphysics.
EVERYTHING ELSE IN LIFE IS A CHOICE

Once you see this and believe it, you take so much pressure off of yourself. When we feel that we are pushed into doing something, we resist (teenager and cleaning their bedroom!) we are no different.

So, screw your list up and throw it away, think about all the things you want to, choose to, like to, love to do and your day gets a lot easier and happier.

That idea of leaping out of bed and jumping about with excitement does not seem so far off now does it???
