Happy 80th Birthday to a Legend

Today 80 years ago Jim Rohn was born into a farming family in a small farming community in Idaho, up to the age of 25 his life was pretty much the same as any "normal people", he married young and had his own family; to stuggle on like most people feel that they have to.

His life chage with an enlightening mentor Earl Shoaff, in the next six years he made his first fortune, but he did not get into speaking until he move to California. A friend there asked him to speak to his Rotary Club which Jim did with a speech called "Idaho Farm Boy Makes It to Beverly Hills".

His speech went over so well that he received more invitations to share it, and better yet, they started paying him for it. In the beginning, he spoke in front of college and high-school classes and at service clubs, before moving on to seminars in 1963, which launched him into the personal-development business. From then on, Jim Rohn became a trailblazer in the self help and personal development industry, impacting the lives of millions through his life-changing material.

I am lucky enough to say that Jim Rohn made a big difference to my life and enabled me to have the strength to follow my dream of teaching and mentoring others in finding their strength to follow their dreams.

My life like many hundreds of thousands of others has been enhanced by Jim Rohn's life.

In rememberance of a GREAT man, my thoughts are with you on your very special day.
