http://ping.fm/W5egm How do You Talk to Yourself? What difference could it make?

Who Talks to You, Like You Talk to Yourself?

I was talking to one of my latests recruits this morning and he is a 40 something year old man with years of "selling" under his belt, he seems to be dilligent, with a good work ethic, wants to learn new skills and trusts me to help his progress. I know this because some of the things I have asked him to do like a vision board, the specific goal settling, visualisation and finally putting his much desired Bently convertable picture as his screen saver have seemed alien to him, but he has done them anyway, gradually he has seen the benefit of building the new reality with pictures, emotions and feelings.

However, it was not until we spent some time going through some of the internet marketing materials did I find the weak link in his chain!!! Being honest we are only as good as our weakest link, the one part of the jigsaw that lets us down or is missing, keeps all the other pieces waiting for completion.

Building a sales funnel and looking for leads is a natural ability for this man, but the more time he spend doing that caused him to have minute lapses of concentration or he made silly errors, pushing wrong buttons on the task he was doing. To which he became very self devaluing, "why are you so stupid", "what the hell are you doing that for", "what an idiot, you know better than that". Which made me think, how many people can see a pattern in this?

When we are contolling our thoughts, planting ideas and visualising with time and effort it becomes easier to take the reign of your thoughts and beliefs to get them to where you want them to be, but on the times that our guards are down old habits creep in. This really is a door that needs shutting and bolting closed, as is is like slipping back into an old pair or shoes or a favourite chair rather than breaking the new ones in, as they get tight and uncomfortable after a while........ do we choose to move forward with the smart new option, or when the pain increases do we go back to what we know is comfortable.

Lets face it, if anybody else spoke to us like we speak to ourselves at times, how long would they be our friend??????? We need to be our best friend, not just in company and at formal times, when we are in those pressured, or quiet alone times as well.

One exercise I learnt very early from Lou Tice from The Pacific Institute on was to have a 24hr period when there was no "put downs". "insults" or "self defeating" thoughts allowed, it is not an eassy task, but a very worthwhile one because it does catch you out!!! and then you can realign the thoughts to a more positive, encouraging option, which in turn will help your progress to the new image of you, in your new environment.

See how you can do for the next 24hrs

Is your life full of HAVE TOs? See if I can make an instant difference....

Why Be Weighed Down by Have To????

Hi
Did you leap out of bed this morning and jump around your room at the possibilities that lay before you, or the excitement of the day ahead?

Is that a big fat NO? Well, I suppose not everyone can be the same. Though even waking up today has been a bonus that many have not had and as we have no guarantees that we will have a tomorrow; so why not make the most of today and everyday?

Being an entrepreneur makes being self motivated a base requirement, but it does not matter where you are or what job you are in there are some very easy ways to make things seem a lot better, or a lot easier to deal with. I was lucky enough to be taught this lesson very early on and it still keeps me in focus today.

Get a piece of paper and a pen, go on I mean it, it is well worth the effort. Then I want you to write down a list of all the things you think you HAVE TO do today. Don't skimp on it....

I have to get up, wash, have breakfast, feed the kids, do the washing, wash the car.....

I know your list, like mine seems endless, here is the big BUT, now I want you to go back through your list and really think if you HAVE TO do the thing or if you actually CHOOSE to do it?

Get up, nope you could have stayed in bed,
Wash, nope there are plenty of stinky people out there!
Have breakfast, nope go hungry....you don't want to, see it is a choice
Feed the kids, nope they would create a lot, or get something for themselves
Do the washing, nope plenty of laundry services out there, that would cost more money, true so you choose to do it to save money
Wash the car, nope it will only get dirty again, or there are car wash places, you have a choice!!

Do you see what I am getting at now?
There should only be three things on your list, to be born (once you are conceived you have to be born), to die (some even choose when that will be), and take up space if you are into quantomphysics.
EVERYTHING ELSE IN LIFE IS A CHOICE

Once you see this and believe it, you take so much pressure off of yourself. When we feel that we are pushed into doing something, we resist (teenager and cleaning their bedroom!) we are no different.

So, screw your list up and throw it away, think about all the things you want to, choose to, like to, love to do and your day gets a lot easier and happier.

That idea of leaping out of bed and jumping about with excitement does not seem so far off now does it???

Ever had a thought, spark or idea about being an entrepreneur? ....then read on!

Ever had any doubts about being an Entrepreneur? Then read on....

Hi
Thanks for reading a Blog on a usual day of rest......oh!!!! almost forgot that is where being a self motivated, up and coming or well established entrepreneur is different to others. There is no 9 to 5, no Bank Holidays, nor usual weekends. BUT and it is a huge BUT we do not have to ask for time off to play with our kids or grand kids, nor do we have to clock in and clock out, nor do we have to answer to anyone else, so we get the best of all worlds, in fact the very best of our world each and every day.

If only it were that simple!!, I have been promoting myself and products now for over five years, a mile stone in this business, and there is no way I could go back to being employed. Though I do rememeber all those years well, all my beliefs about the security of the pay cheque....Bar Humbug I say now!!! I also remember always working at least two jobs to make ends meet, being a single parent with all the responsibility and never having time for me. I was exhausted mentally, emotionally and physically, burnt out in fact.

I had seen many previous ads for work from home, be your own boss, and was always so sceptical, all seemed too good to be true. IF ONLY I had seized the moment!!! Hind sight is all well and good, but I am now reaping the benefits.

I would say if you have the slightest spark of interest, or an idea that is bubbling away inside of you then don't squash it, hide it, ignore it..... You can start to build your skills and knowledge from experts and lead your way into it, learn from others and float your ideas. If your feeling anything but enthusiasm, delight and exitement about work tomorrow, then you need to be looking at other opportunities.

There is some amazing FREE advice and insight at www.lindasage.net don't wait as long as I did, live the life you desire and deserve; the choice is yours.... I am just off to make a video about my life in the sun.

Happy Sunday

Learn from my journey of building internet marketing skills

5 Tips to Internet Freedom

Hi
As my learning curve about online marketing has been very steep lately, I will share with you the 5 best ways to make your personal rocks in the road that are stopping or slowing you down into challenges that will grow you as a person, you as an entrepreneur and you as a leader of your team to come.

1. Keep a journal of everything that worries, bothers or scares you and how you over come them. This works in two ways, shows you your progress and advances in skills along the way, so you can see how far you have come and once you conquer something you forget in time how scary it was, so when you are training the next generation you can use the journal to remember what they are going through and tell them how you felt and learnt to move on. Think about when you learnt to ride a two wheeler bike, I bet you don't remember how many cuts, scarpes and tears there were along the way!!!

2. Find successful help, there is so much on the net, so who do you trust??? Do some research see what names keep popping up, find somebody you feel you can work with and understand them as a person. Any respectable company will offer you a money back guarantee, because they are so sure by their proven success that they can deliver what you want and what works.

3. Opt into a training programme that you can fit into your day, don't commit to 10hrs a day when that is not sustainable, as you become involved in the training and see your results, you will find more time in your day to do the things you want, and this will be one of them

4. Whatever programme you choose. work at your own rate, don't be pushed into the next level, before you feel you are prepared financially or in skills. 97% of entrepreneurs fail because they spend more than they are making, GROW YOUR SKILLS, TO GROW YOUR INCOME, then move on.

5. Change your mindset, you are capable, bright, able to be your own boss, anyone who says otherwise does not know you. It is hard being a salmon swimming up stream, but once you start that journey and you find a community of salmon all swimming in the same direction, it gets much easier.

Thank you for taking the time to read my Blog and if you think you would like to know more about me or how I can help you then just have a look at my website www.lindasage.com

Happy swimming

The Human Puzzle pg 14 in www.yourlocalnewspaper.info
http://ping.fm/mejyv 5 Hot Tips to getting started in internet marketing and developing the best "ME" product on offer.

Getting Started in Internet Marketing 5 Tips

Hi from the sunny Costa Blanca on yet another beautiful day.

If you are anything like me being brought into the Cyber age kicking and screaming, then the word Internet is very scary, let alone marketing (again if like me you had never been involved in sales) and even worse put the two together and we have a complete minefield of ways to lose and spend money like a runaway train.

1. STOP Take a big breath and think about your life. Whatever interrview you have had, job, career, or relationship you have been marketing "YOU", have you ever flirted????? What are you marketing to the other person????? "You"

2. Think about a purchace you have made, if the sales staff were "in your face", or sitting chewing gum chatting to a mate, or none could not be found when you wanted information, no matter how good the product or what the price was, you would choose to go elsewhere. Because you felt that you were buying from them personally. You need to be your best advertisment, dress, attitide, listening skills, self confidence, product knowledge. Each of these is an investment in the "ME" Brand. This is the biggest step for most people and the biggest step to success.

3. Read, Read and Read more, you will see the the same names keep appearing, when you don't know anyone in this industry that will give you a lead. Loads of free information out there, Google names and read their achievements. Look at their styles, can you work with them? Do they inspire you? Do they talk in a way you can understand easily?

4. Don't sink under an in box full of autoresponses, no matter how personal they seem they are automatic. Once you have found a mentor you want to work with, unsubscibe the rest or you will have information overload. Look at the products, courses, packages offered and choose one that is right for you. If you are a mum with a young family and a job, with the best will in the world you cannot dedicate hundreds of hours to your personal and professional development. You will feel pressurised and set yourself up to fail. 15 mins a day of solid 100% concentration is better than 2 hours of conflicting thoughts of what have I got to do tomorrow, what shopping do I have to do. It is not a race, opportunities will not fade away new ones will always come up. When my daughter was young as a single parent my study time was in the bath when she was in bed, I could relax and absorb information.

5. Financial investment, money back guarantees are great but you need to find the money first.. there are some great packages for all fianncial situations, don't over stretch yourself, buy the next level up when you have grown your income to pay for it. Which ever course or mentor you choose, believe in them and follow their guidance to the letter, don't skip a chapter, or think you can do it better another way, their methods are proven and they know more than we do!!!!

There are some amazing Masters of their trades out there to choose from, but if you are starting on a budget my personal reccomendations would be, Mike Dillard's Building on a Budget $30 brilliant and you will have a functioning business, then Jim Rohn Year to Success this is a weekly practical workbook, sent through in units on a weekly basis, so it gets you into discplined work/study mode from day one. This is $9.99 for the fist couple of months then $17.99 monthly to the end, but these two will see a completely different you both personally and professionally......Don't take my word for it, check them both out and see if you goals can be reached with their help.
